Hi linas!
For me it is quite simple: I studied “Applied Geosciences” to become a geoscientist! 😉
But a lot of my friends and colleagues started to study really different things: some studied physics, some studied mechanical engineering or electrical engineering, and some studied geography. And after some time they found out how interesting and versatile geosciences are and changed their subjects. And now they all are earth scientists.
